Churchill, Penguin, 1985 A series of six volumes chronicling the Second World War in enormous detail and illustrated throughout by numerous maps and diagrams. Churchill used his own notes and privileged access to official documents while still serving as Leader of the Opposition. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1953. A boxed set comprising of six paperback volumes. Volume I - The Gathering Storm The book is in near fine condition with a crease to the front cover and a mark to the front cover. Volume II - Their Finest Hour The book is in near fine condition with a crease toe bottom corner of the front cover, and wear to the edge of the spine. Volume III - The Grand Alliance The book is in near fine condition with a small crease to the bottom corner of the back cover. Volume IV - The Hinge Of Fate The book is in fine condition with a mark to the back cover and a crease to the bottom corner of the back cover. Volume V - Closing The Ring The book is in near fine condition with no issues. Volume VI - Triumph And Tragedy The book is in near fine condition with a crease to the front cover and the bottom corner of the back cover. Slipcase The slipcase is in near fine condition with a mark to the top. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box and fully insured.
