The binding is tight and straight, the boards clean and bright with the gilt lettering clear and bright. The endpapers and pages are clean without tears, marks or inscriptions. Top edge has just a touch of foxing.
The unclipped jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover has retained its colouring extremely well. Extremely minor rubbing to the top edge.
