89 pages, large 8vo., stiff cream cloth covered boards, titles in black, some light dust soiling, written on rear board “General See”. Includes loose typed presentation letter from the Viceroy dated 1916 on headed paper “Vice regal Lodge Delhi”. A detailed record of Hardinges Game Book typeset and printed from his handwritten records detailing shooting trips from 1911 to 1916. the contents are in ledger forms listing the date, location types of game with bags and remarks concerning the shots, the members of the shooting party, detailing the size of some of the game shot i.e. tigers 9’3”, at the end of the volume is a “record of staff shoots 1911-1916. the total bagged over the period including game birds for Lord Hardinge and guests 20,130, the staff 6,253” in all 26,383 which includes 78 tigers. A rare title undoubtingly printed for distribution to friends and fellow officials. No copy located on World Cat, Czech 98 which I believe to be this copy, from the Library of Jake Johnson.
