Neate C16; Perret 0840. Herbert Carr played a prominent role in Welsh climbing of the 1920s, when he was joined by climbers such as Winthrop Young, Mallory, and others. This copy once belonged to William Ernest Corlett, a Liverpool-based solicitor who climbed in North Wales in thet later 19th century and was a founding member of the Climbers’ Club.
