Dealer Notes
The Adelie Blizzard was a newspaper produced during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition, 1911-1914, led by Douglas Mawson. As with the similar newspaper issued on Scott’s expeditions - The South Polar Times - The Adelie Blizzard featured humorous stories, poems, historical notices, and expedition ‘chat’. It was reproduced for the first time in the present form in 2010, from the sole original typesscripts held at the Mawson Centre of the South Australia Museum.
