Probably Dr. H. Howard Hughes (1902–1989), an American English professor who became famous for holding the Guinness World Record for the "Most theatre productions attended" who served as a Professor of English at Texas Wesleyan University (then Texas Wesleyan College) in Fort Worth, Texas, from 1935 to 1968.
