In good unclipped Keith Cunningham designed dust jacket; a little creased and chipped to edges with slight loss to fold corners; some browning to rear panel. *** First printing of the second published novel by Moroccan artist and storyteller Mohammed Mrabet (born 1936) translated by his friend Paul Bowles. Precedes the first American edition by three years. The Lemon is the second collaboration between Bowles and Mrabet, with Mrabet dictating the story and Bowles transcribing and translating.
