Light wear to head & foot of spine of most volumes. Minor rubbing to spines. Illustrated with numerous plates and large folding maps and battle plans some coloured. Includes many notable and famous battles Alma, Sebastopol, Inkerman and Balaclava ( Charge of the light Brigade) etc. Some minor foxing otherwise a very good copy of the Cabinet edition. Generally a pleasing set of this exhaustive history of the Crimea, sponsored by Lady Raglan

KINGLAKE, Alexander William 1809-1891 was an English travel writer and historian.
Maps and plans have been collated & checked. All are present. The two final volumes (7 & 8) identified as "New Edition" on the title pages ( but "Cabinet Edition" on the half title pages) are here paired with the "Cabinet Edition" to complete the set
