Book Description

12mo. pp viii, frontis and seven woodcut illustrations to text. Contemporary sheep, front board detached, text a little browned, but overall in good condition. Early signature A M Ford, January 1778. A1 has adverts on the recto, and the frontis on the verso, and is followed by the title page (A2). Rather a rare printing, which seems to have several different settings of the dedication to the Reader: this is closest to ESTC T58585, but all these Johnston 1759 printings seem rare.
