A 1775 Cambridge edition, rebacked but with the original spine and boards. Full mottled calf, gilt bands, borders, decorations and spine label. Neatly rebacked. Some rubbing to the boards, front board with a few light damp spots, extremities a little bumped and worn. Ink spot to the fore edge. Marbled endpapers. Family inscriptions to front blanks. Binding firm with hinges reinforced. Just occasional spots and handling marks to the leaves, which are otherwise bright. Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece. A lovely 18th century family Bible.
