Paper label showing title (with some loss) to spine. 8.25ins x 5.25ins, x, 224pp, 9pp index. Vignette illustration to title page, frontis and three plates. Also extra illustrated with 4 additional plates from other works. Previous owners name and date (1833) to front free endpaper. Three bookplates from different owners (earliest that of Sir Charles Anderson) . Ink annotations and the addition of many extra names to the list of Sheriffs given in the appendix. Some browning to some of the plates. Front hinge cracked but holding. Spine sunned. G+
