Book Description

A copy of the very entertaining 1921 Grand Guignol Review. Buff boards with a striking colour illustration by Aubrey Hammond to the front cover. There is considerable foxing to the front cover, surrounding, but not affecting, the illustration. Many jolly articles such as 'The Filthiness of the French Farce . Or pity the poor Dry- Cleaner '. Sybil Thorndike features heavily ! A great 'Period Piece' inscribed on the front endpaper by Jose Levy, Xmas 1924. His Obituary from the Daily Telegraph is tipped in.
