A copy of The Golden Book of Nursery Rhymes, published by Blandford Press in the 1950s (no date to this copy; possibly 1st edition?). Very nicely colour illustrated throughout by 'Carlton Artists' (J R credited; signature to some illustrations appears to be Joan Roberts?). This copy has some wear, with hessian spine worn with fraying, some staining to top of front cover and general wear to boards (with some fading to rear). Internally with slight cracking and marks at end papers, but pages clean and bright.
