Two small, light stains near the bottom of rear wrapper, a barely noticeable crease in top fore edge of front wrapper and the first few pages, otherwise a remarkably Fine copy of a fragile item.
Dealer Notes
Short story, first published in International Socialist review in January 1909, this edition believed to be 1912, later collected in his collection of short stories 'The Strength of the Strong' (1914). With advertisement for 'History of the Supreme Court of the United States' by Gustavus Myers, published 1912 on rear panel.
Houghton Library, Harvard University query both publication date, they have [1919?] and sequence of printing in BAL. BAL has [(printing A, Presence of subtitle distinguishes this from later printings.] This copy has subtitle present.
