ANON. THE COMIC ADVENTURES OF OLD MOTHER HUBBARD AND HER DOG. Part 1. Printed by J. Kendrew, Colliergate (York). Pp 16 including the covers. With fifteen woodcuts. No date but circa 1810-1820. From a nursery rhyme circa 1805 by Sarah Catherine Martin. Disbound with minor evidence of previous binding to the spine, now resewn with linen thread. Overall in Very Good Plus condition. As with all the Kendrew 16 pp chapbooks, the covers were simply washed with yellow, after printing and binding. Part 11 of this title was not issued in 16pp format, but in a 24 pp edition and a 32 pp edition.
