Crease to title and frontis. Some toning to feps, frontis and title. Corner of front pastedown torn with loss. Occasional spotting, a bright crisp copy. Pressed grasses have been loosely inserted at 269, 303, 337, 351, 419, 431, 437, 499, and at plate 71. A small historic and faded note list of plants loosely inserted. Decoratively inscribed, with floral embellishment, to verso of ffep “John Gainsworth Senior” dated March 10, 1833. Further word scorched.
