Edinburgh: Scottish Academic Press, 1979, numbered de luxe first edition, limited to 85 copies, xi, 141 pages plus twenty-nine actual hackles, mounted on five card plates, publisher's slip, all edges gilt, original morocco with gilt lettering, original slipcase. Bookplate of John A. McKinley with a small quantity of hackle price lists from Frank Elder (Bearford Hackles) including one describing his economic difficulties and resulting reduction in production.
