8vo. 31 volumes, set. Limited edition of 1050 sets (see note below). Signed on the half-title of volume 1. Original buff quarter cloth with pale blue paper boards. Paper labels to spines (and spare label inserted at rear of each volume). Top edges gilt, others untrimmed. Silk marker ribbons. Printed on handmade paper. Now in non-adhesive, clear acetate jackets. Cloth spines a bit tanned. A few paper labels have tiny loss. Most volumes have foxing to the paper boards and endpapers. Some volumes have a few scattered small marks to the paper boards and several of the top corners are gently pushed. No previous ownership marks. Contents clean and fresh. Volume 28 has a fourth impression (1932) of the pamphlet ‘His Apologies’, by Kipling and illustrated by R. H. Buxton, taped to the flyleaf. Very good ++.
