Book Description

The Allied Military Missions in Berlin 1945-48. Edited by the Chief of Allied Liaison and Protocol Section, and printed in Paris 1949. Number 62 of an edition limited to 300. A large paperback, size 31 by 22 cm. 146 pages. In three languages, English, French and Russian. With many illustrations of key personnel in the occupation of post-war Germany. There is an unused photographic postcard inside that was discovered in the book and was presumably once the possession of its original owner- a black and white image of a notice board at the site of the Belsen concentration camp. The bottom of the book’s front cover is slightly rubbed but otherwise the book and card are in VG condition.
