The First UK printing published by Hodder and Stoughton, London in 1923. The BOOK is in Very Good++ or better condition. Original black cloth with gilt titling to the spine and front cover. Light pushing at the spine ends. Some age related markings to the rear board with some superficial indentations to the upper rear board. Light bumping to the rear board edges and pushing at the rear corners. Early easing to the front hinge. Light offsetting to the blank end-papers. Free from inscriptions. Light toning to the text-block. Frontis sketch of Nancy Cunard by Wyndham Lewis is present. The fragile paper WRAPPER is in Very Good condition. Some edge-wear with a little loss in places at the spine ends , folds and edges (see images). Some tape repairs to the verso. Closed tears to the front lower and upper rear flap folds. Some age related marking and creasing in places. The wrapper remains attractive in a removable Brodart archival cover. The author's scarce second collection of poetry with only one copy having appeared at auction in wrapper in the last 30 years. Collectible
