Published in Madras, India, in 1922 this is the second edition, revised and enlarged of this book on the Shrines & Temples of Southern India, bound in the original cloth, just under 10 inches tall, 638 pages, with over 250 illustrations, some of which are folding, some rubbing wear to covers with light fraying to spine ends, book is mildly ex-library with a stamp to revers of title page and to base of final text page, some noticeable straining and loosening to inner joints, (see pictures) some creasing to title page and a few of the folding illustrations, a few small tears with no loss to folding illustrations, marking to a couple of pages (pictured) else in good general condition,
