Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Gilt image to front board. Boards are rubbed but otherwise in good order. Slight bumping to corners. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Foxing to the page edges. Inscription to ffep reads "This volume is the property of Archibald Greig Cowie, 2c Old Burlington Street, London, W, brother of the author, Robert Cowie, and himself author of The Sea Services of the Empire". Fold out map to front. Occasional mild foxing. 309 pp + appendix. A nice copy. Additional photos are available upon request. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 410g.
