Oblong format, 6ins x 8.5ins, 56pp plus covers (illustrations to inside front and inside back covers). Published to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Samuel Smith's death, it features photographs taken by Smith in the 1850's, juxtaposed with their modern (1992) equivalent (taken by Neville Swaine). There is an introduction by Brian Coe who was co-author in 1974 of "Victorian Townscape - the work of Samuel Smith". VG. Seemingly scarce.
