The third edition (undated) but circa 1910 (originally published in 1880) . Publishers burgundy cloth boards with gilt spine titles with anchor, flags and ship designs. Small area of lighter spotting to top of upper board. First prelim page and last blank page a little age-toned. Gift inscription dated 1929 on verso of frontis. Small circular W.H.Smith & Co impressed stamp to last (blank) page top corner...The original sellers perhaps? Otherwise clean & complete. 0 Endpapers professionally renewed. A nice bright copy. Pages clean and unmarked.
