Hardback. Fine binding to this collection of Randolph Caldecott's Picture Books. Half bound in brown calf with raised bands to spine decorated and lettered in gilt, leather corners, dark maroon cloth to boards, marbled endpapers, marbled to page edges. Leather slightly scuffed and there is exposed board to the tip of one corner. Gilt is bright and the spine is smartly attractive. Internally foxed to prelims and occasionally within, some pages are quite heavily affected. Clean and sound.
