Founder of the Souvenir Press " For Ernest Hecht one of the last independants John Calder 14/12/01" In the same hand the free endpaper is marked "No 21" and loosely laid- in is a printed card from the J.F.Kennedy Library signed Jacqueline Kennedy acknowledging a contribution to the memorial of the late President. Calders forebears were whiskey distillers and pages 10 and 11 describe how the whole Kennedy family were frequent visitors to their Scottish estate. Quarto 605pps illustrated. A unique copy in exceptional condition
