Book Description
C1930. With 13 full page dark green tinted illustrations, including the title page. Green cloth covers with black line design decorative upper board, black line design to the spine, gilt lettering to upper board and spine & decorative endpapers. In good condition with light marks to boards, slight mottling/fading to the spine, light bumping to corners and some rubbing/fraying to corners and edges as seen in photos. Clean and crisp pages with a touch of foxing to first and last few pages and light marks to sporadic pages throughout the book. Page 101 with 1/2" edge tear to bottom edge and 1" closed edge tear to fore edge of page 145. With all that mentioned still a smart copy with beautiful illustrations by F. D. Bedford. Previous owner's name and date to top of title page. vii, 181pp. 'Before he flew away to Neverland, the little boy who wouldn't grow up dwelt in the heart of London, with birds and fairies as his companions.
