                            This is a nice old shipping receipt / handbill, transport document ticket advertising that the ship “The Union” is ready for receiving goods at Chamberlain’s Wharf, Southwark, in London for delivery to Exeter and Topsham in Devon, and includes a list of towns that goods can then be further transported to for delivery. This document / receipt is signed and dated by the Wharfinger January 1825, for the transport of listed goods, a hamper and two jars, Measuring 8.25 inches by 7.5 inches approx., some creasing wear, browning and marks, small spike hole in centre, some loss to edges, else in good general condition,  A VERY NICE PIECE OF MARITIME HISTORY
