A very acceptable copy of this scarce Murray's Guide. Originally compiled in 1895, the book was not published until May 1912 , which is the date of the 17 pages of Advertisements at the back of the book . All the Maps and Plans are present with the back pocket containing the folded maps of Beds and Hertfordshire as well as Murray's Handbook of Travel Talk and an (unused) 'Feedback' Form for users of the book. The Huntingdon folding map is incorporated in the text. The binding is still tight and the red covers bright apart from the spine which is sunned. The titles and price, 7/6,are just legible. A book of a bygone age !
