Boydell was a landscape painter in watercolour and was a member of Liver Sketching Club, the oldest continuously active art club in England. 1872 - present.
Boydell lived in Liverpool and exhibited between 1889 and 1916 at the Royal Academy, The WAG Liverpool and the RCA plus others.
