First Spanish edition. Unnumbered copy. Four volumes, complete. HB. Cream cloth, black titles to spines and pictorial dustjackets; in stiff clear polymer outer jackets; uniform folios, 32 x 25.5cm. The magnificent Poligrafa presentation of the entire lithographic oeuvre of Joan Miró, with 36 original whole page or double page colour lithographs produced by the artist for this edition and printed by Mourlot. The other suites of lithographs are reproduced in colour or (the earliest ones) in black and white. Texts (all in Spanish) by the Surrealist writer Michel Leiris and the printer Fernand Mourlot (Vol.1, 1972) ; Raymond Queneau (Vol.2, 1975) ); Joan Teixidor (Vol.3, 1977) and Nicolas & Elena Calas(Vol.4, 1981). A Very Good+ set. Clean covers, pages and jackets, some bumps to corners with creasing to jacket corners where this occurs. A little surface marking and fraying to outer clear jacket spines; Vol.4 lacks the clear jacket.
