Book Description

8vo. First edition. pp xii, 310 [2] (Ads). Original green cloth, original yellow endpapers present. Bookplate of Sir Velters Cornewall, Bart. Early signature Thomas (?) Court to flyleaf. Spine a little rubbed to head, and slightly faded, with lean to one side. Nevertheless, a nice copy of rather an unusual book, in which the authoress covers Florence then, substantially Rome. An interesting example of women's Victorian travel writing.
