Book Description

Cream card covers with black lettering to spine and front. Bookplate from Kenn Back (1942-, Meteorologist for the British Antarctic Survey and descendant of the Arctic explorer Captain George Back). Covers are generally in good order. Slight bumping to corners, some subsequent curling. Spine is intact albeit with some bumping to the ends. The pages have been hand cut and hence are rather ragged. Some foxing to endpages and occasionally throughout. 167 pp. Pictoral paper dust jacket with black lettering to spine and yellow lettering to front. Dj edges are creased with numerous small nicks, particularly around the spine area. Now protected by a removable plastic sleeve stuck only to itself, not the book covers. Contained within a purpose-build sturdy slip cover. Additional photos are available upon request. Text in French. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 652g. (YBP Ref: 031933:14h)
