Book Description

A very nice copy of a scarce 1940s children's book. 'Katherine' by Elisabeth Macintyre tells a tale of a typical Australian girl and her life on the station where she lives. First published in Australia, this is the first UK edition, published by Harrap in 1946. Beautifully and simply illustrated by Macintyre. Lacks dust wrapper but is in great condition otherwise (small neat gift inscription to ffep; very slightly shaken). Lovely - not sure I shall see it again.
