Book Description

A simply wonderful large-format children's book from the turn of the 20th century. First published in America in 1903, this is (presumably) the first UK printing by Grant Richards of 'Mr Sharptooth' by Joe Kerr, with just stunning illustrations by Robert Porteous. A wonderful read! This copy is not in the best condition, with tape reinforcement to front and back (title page + back endpapers), as well as some general grubbiness and some old book-tape repaired closed tears (generally short) to a few pages. One page has a section of loss to inner bottom corner (not affecting text or illustration) and others have scuffed corners with some loss. Having said all of that, the book is still a joy!!!
