Printed on handmade paper and specially bound in dark cloth with vellum spine; top edge trimmed, the other edges uncut. Minor toning and spotting to endpapers. Signed by the authors to the limitation page. The novel was adapted from the play, which was first performed at the Apollo Theatre in London on 9 December 1928, starring a young Laurence Olivier. The novelisation of R. C. Sherriff's play 'Journey's End'.' Set in the trenches towards the end of the First World War, giving an insight into the British Army officers' lives leading up to Operation Michael. No inscriptions. Clean tight copy.
