This mint copy was included in the National Book League’s exhibition of the 100 Best Books of 1961. Eleanor Farjeon wrote, “I had the most wonderful time yesterday reading and seeing your perfect story - one of your masterpieces”. A small boy called Johnny decides to make a grandfather clock.
