22 volumes, set. 8vo. 9 first editions thus, the rest reprints. Original green cloth, gilt. Most top edges green. Jackets designed by Michael Harvey. Contents clean and fine. Vol. 8 has been bound upside down. Tiny stain to the top part of the fore edge of vol. 17. The boards of vols. 15 & 16 are slightly bowed. Most d/ws are price-clipped. The d/ws of vols. 1, 5 & 13 are a little rubbed. The d/w of vol. 20 is a bit rubbed and has a 1 cm closed tear at the head of the spine. Near fine in near fine d/ws.
