ANON. JACKY DANDY’S DELIGHT : or, the History of Birds and Beasts; in Prose and Verse, Embellished with Wood Cuts. J.Kendrew, Printer York. Pp16 including covers. No date but circa 1810-1820. With a page of alphabets and 13 woodcuts . Disbound with evidence of previous binding to the spine, now resewn with linen thread. Some of the woodcuts bear marked similarities to Berwick engravings in “ Quadrupeds” and “ British Birds”. In Very Good plus condition overall. The covers, as with all of the Kendrew 16 pp chapbooks, were simply washed with yellow after printing and binding.
