Published in London in 1890, this is the rare First Edition of this book on Indian Clubs, and their use, bound in the original blue cloth covers, 8.5 inches tall approx., 205 pages plus adverts, well-illustrated throughout with 218 illustrations by the author
Loosely inserted in this copy are two letters from the author to the books owner, a Robert Clough, the first letter runs to two handwritten pages, the second letter dated 16th may 1894, runs to five sides and has illustrations by the author.
The books cover has some edge and corner rubbing wear, small mark to rear cover, internally light marking to endpapers, some bumping to lower page corners else in good condition
