Published months before his first Directory of Sheffield, It begins with a vitreolic tirade against the author of the Sheffield Local Register and mentions " A sordid and invidious legal notice" served by the attorney of Mr Thomas the Registers editor. Octavo contemporary cloth with later endpapers inscribed Barton Wells 1902.
