Henry Scott Tuke (1858-1929) is best known as an artist who excelled in painting nudes 'en plein air'. From an early childhood in Falmouth he developed a keen interest in the sea & sailing ships. This book focusses on Tuke's five racing yachts & his accomplishments in yacht racing whether he used them as floating studios or as his personal transport. It undoubtedly provides an insight into the artist's life & his passion for boats & painting.
