Tall 8vo. pp. xiv, 94, [2, ads.]; photo. illusts., sketch maps to text at rear, two folding maps, 8pp. of coloured maps at rear and one large extending road map of Malaya; inkstamp “Finance Officer” to flyleaf, else very good in original pictorial cloth-backed boards, previous owner’s pencilled name to upper boards, minor wear to extremities.
Dealer Notes
The book offers details of motor tours, a section on the Malayan highway code, a guide to the principal towns, hints on maintenance, and a “Flying Section” extracted from a contemporary publication titled The Malayan Air Pilot. Established in 1932, by the time of publication the Automobile Association of Malaya boasted 9,000 members, and it is not clear why more copies do not survive.
