This is a Very Good Copy of this Book in Publisher's light tan coloured cloth with bright dark brown title lettering to spine and the upper cover in a Very Good Dust-Jacket that is lightly faded to spine and with a couple of small repaired closed tears to the top and bottom of the spine.A scarce title especially in it's original dust-jacket.The book has NO former owner's names present but on the front endpaper is a former bookseller's catalogue entry tipped onto the page.The binding remains firm with no hinge weakness.Originally published in German and the book became the basis for Pabst's highly regarded War film 'Westfront' There is just a little spotting to the page edges of the book.Great copy for the collector,8vo 181pp First UK Edition 1st Impression [1930]
