Rosemary, herself a very successful and celebrated historical novelist wrote the introduction to Lee's 1986 Arkham House collection "Dreams of Dark & Light." Tanith had numerous pet names for her over the years and enclosed is an ALS employing one of them. It begins "Dear Flower, As you will have seen your postcard from my Hol. got posted in Sidcup (sigh) as my address book born with me so as to allow me to bombard all friends and relations with postcards - supplied only your 'phone number. This gift came from Fairford, a place of such amazingly benign vibes, I think anything from there must carry Good/God. Its antler - plus pewter. * Hope you like. All Fox love. *An educated guess at the gift would be a Pewter Tankard with a Stag Antler handle. An attractive one-off for the Fantasy Collector in superb condition
