Essays by Sir William Temple (The Gresham Publishing Company, [No Date] circa 1910), with an introduction by J. A. Nicklin. Binding design attributed to Talwin Morris (ref. Glasgow School of Art Library). Hardback – publisher’s cloth binding with gilt decoration to spine and front board, floral endpapers, top edge gilt. pp [2], [i]-ix, [x-xii], 13-331, plus frontispiece. 6.25 x 4.25 inches approx. Offsetting to half-title page, pencilled name to upper corner; some spotting to page edges, occasional grubby mark or foxing but otherwise pages generally clean.
