Book Description

Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám (George Harrap & Co. Ltd, [No Date] circa 1920s), illustrations and decorations by Willy Pogány. Hardback – publisher’s red cloth with title to spine and decoration to front board, in a price-clipped dustwrapper with repeated design. 95pp including line drawings/decoration plus four colour plates. Size: 5 x 3.5 inches approx. (128mm x 89mm). Dustwrapper lightly rubbed and worn; a touch dusty/grubby; neatly clipped to all corners; slightly short but does appear original, ie. no signs of being trimmed. Cloth lightly worn to extremities otherwise clean and bright. Light foxing/spotting to endpapers. Overall, a nicely preserved copy – lovely.
