Folio, title page, list of plates, followed by 100 plates, contemporary half calf, rebacked with original spine laid-down, a very good copy.
Dealer Notes
An interesting array of early photos of some important houses now vanished, such as Reigate Priory and Heath Hall. Houghton Tower in Lancashire appears as Houghton Towers in Durham, Parham as Suffolk rather than Sussex and so on. Otherwise picturesque scenes showing how these places appeared before the advent of the motor car.
