ELLIOTT’S TALES FOR BOYS
Book Description
This is a nice Children’s book by William Darton containing four stories by Marie Elliott translated into French, bound in an old quarter leather binding, just under 6 inches tall, each story is illustrated with a folding frontispiece, and a few full page illustrations.
Dealer Notes
The leather binding is rubbed and worn, joints cracked but boards still firmly attached, internally old ownership name to front endpaper, some noticeable foxing and offsetting to the plates, the frontispiece to the story “The Sailor Boy” has a large clean tear with no loss (see pictures) else in good general condition.
