Book Description
It was during the period prior to the English Civil War that Thomas Hobbes wrote De Cive ('On the Citizen'). There are three parts: Libertas (On Liberty), Imperium (On Dominion) , Religio (On Religion) .

Condition very good. Leather boards blind stamped patterns, bumping to corners, marking through use, rebacked spine (tapes to endpapers), upper board held firmly by cords(see image), lower hinge holding well, text block very firm, one annotation and small spill on the margin.
